Stanford Baird

Mr. Baird focuses his practice on environmental matters, including litigation and controversy matters, and environmental aspects of real estate and business transactions. He routinely negotiates with state and federal environmental agencies on behalf of private parties, handles administrative appeals, and oversees environmental due diligence and clean up activities. Mr. Baird sits on the City of Raleighs Environmental Advisory Board and is active with several community groups including Habitat for Humanity and Legal Services for the Elderly. he holds a J.D. degree from Wake Forest University and an A.B. from Duke University.

 
Fred Blood
Sustainability Officer, City of Austin
 
Fred Blood has served as Sustainability Officer for the City of Austin, TX since 2000 and for Austin Energy since 2004. Austin is recognized internationally as an innovative leader in sustainability. Fred has been a regional advocate for clean air, green buildings, resource conservation, environmentally preferential purchasing, alternative fuels, and "cradle-to-cradle" materials handling. He has also been active in promoting Austin Energy’s National Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV)Campaign to citizens, state & local government, and auto manufacturers. In addition, he is involved with implementation strategies for the City’s Climate Protection Program, with a goal of having municipal operations carbon neutral by 2020. Prior to joining the City of Austin, Fred was Founder and CEO of Asbestos Control Consultants, Inc. He holds a BS in Science from Virginia Tech and a Masters degree in Biology from VCU.
 

Daniel Howe
Assistant City Manager, City of Raleigh
 
Daniel Howe, ASLA, AICP is Assistant City Manager for the City of Raleigh, NC.  With a background in City Planning and Landscape Architecture, Dan has long been interested in the application of new technology in the public interest, and recently has been involved in the genesis of the LED City program with Cree, Inc. Through its partnership with Cree over the past two years, Raleigh has been pioneering installations of light-emitting diode general illumination lighting in public settings.  
 
 
Stephanie Loyka-Minker
Employer Outreach Coordinator, Triangle Transit
 
Stephanie Loyka-Minker joined the Triangle Transit team in 2007 as Employer Outreach Coordinator. She currently works with Wake County employers to develop and promote alternative commute and transportation benefits programs. Previously, she worked with the Triangle J Council of Governments to administer the Best Workplaces for Commuters and Clean Cities programs. Stephanie began her career at IBM before pursuing business development with Hillman Environmental Consulting. She later joined Schoor DePalma Engineering where she marketed brownfields redevelopment grant funding and environmental services. Stephanie was a founding member and Co-Chair of the Triangle Chapter of SWEP (Society of Women Environmental Professionals).
 
 
Enoch Moeller
Operations Team Manager, Google
 
As Operations Team Manager for Google at the new Lenoir, NC data center, Enoch is responsible for directing the front lines day to day operations of the data center and supervising a team of on-site technicians. He has over 10 years of extensive IT experience in areas including: manufacturing, call centers, hospitality, pharmaceuticals, financial services, data warehousing, and marketing consulting. Prior to working for Google, Enoch was the Vice President of IT for a consulting firm based in Charlotte, NC.
